Cricket Technique Bat Force T6

Improve your batting with the Cricket Technique Bat Force T6. Weighted to 4 LB 3 the bats build muscle strength; develop endurance, improve footwork and give you far better bat control over your normal playing bat. Just walking around with these will improve your game.

The Cricket Technique Bat Force T6 is a great training bat for those who use a lighter bat in a game or struggle with the heavier training bats. It adds 40% to a standard 2 lb 10 bat, coming in at nearly 4 lb 3. It is available in a range of sizes, including SH, Harrow and 6. In the smaller sizes, the bat weighs less but the same percentage more than a standard bat of that size. The Cricket Technique Bat Force T6 is ideal for beginners. Do not be fooled by the initial feel of them. Most players using them for the first time comment that they do not fell a difference. However after a few minutes in the nets you will start to feel it in areas of your hands, wrists, arms, torso, thighs and feet. You will also notice that when playing shots; particularly off the front foot; if your feet are not in the correct position you will feel off balance.

The Cricket Technique Bat Force T6 is manufactured using a robust grade of willow and comes in a natural sanded finish.

It is recommended that when first using these bats users start with the lighter weighted Cricket Technique Bat Force T2 then work up over a period of months to the T4 and T6. It is also recommended that to begin with use them for the first 5 or so minutes only in a net session.

The compete range of Force Train Batter Cricket Training Bats were designed by a former premier league opening batsman. Th range consists of a series of weighted bats that look just like normal bats. They have wide edges; low to high level strike zones; power-curve bows; flat faces; 9 piece cane handles; tensile grips and toe guards. They are weighted by a series of inserts set into the blade. The inserts are within the blade and are not visible. They are placed so that the weight is distributed evenly throughout the strike zone which allows the user to maintains the feel of a smooth pick up; just like normal bats. The bat weights vary from 3 LB 3 to 4 LB 3. There are three models; the T-2, T-4 and T-6. Starting with the lighter version (T-2) batsmen and women use them in the nets for 5 to 10 minutes at the start of a session. The additional weight helps develop core muscle strength and muscle conditioning in all the key areas of the hands, arms, torso, abdomen, thighs, calves and feet. By using them “in-situ” the muscles vital to batting are working against resistance and as such they become bigger and stronger thus developing far greater bat control, faster bat speed and better timing. Endurance, which is vital for playing a long innings, is also improved as is footwork because the heavier weight of the bats forces the user to move their feet to maintain balance. The bats also help with the development of the hands. If a playing is too top handed they can work against resistance to get more bottom hand through some shots and if a player is too bottom handed the top hand can be developed to balance hand impact throughout shot play. The weighted bats also come in the slim line version. There are two types; the TS and the TS-2. These are narrow like a standard technique bat but they are also weighted with the heavier TS-2 weighing in at 3 LB. These bats are used to develop hand eye coordination but with the added weight they also ensure that the keys muscles are also working against resistance.

For the younger players looking to develop their technique a new range of lighter bats which weigh in at around 2 LB will be available as from next week. These bats also look just like a normal bat but sections of the blade have been cored or hollowed out to make them lighter. This allows the younger cricketers to hone their technique and to develop their defensive and attacking shots to be played correctly by using a bat they have good control over because they are lighter.
